Hey, I’m Debmalya. I’m currently a PhD candidate at the University of Warwick, working on High Fidelity Rendering and Computer Graphics. Before that, I was a research assistant at National University of Singapore working on Emotion Recognition from gestures. Even before that, I did my masters in Computer Science Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur .
My research interest is in High Fidelity Rendering, Machine Learning and Human Computer Interactions.
Besides academia, my other interests are Indian Classical music and Photography. Although I sometimes do commercial photographic assignments (see my portfolio) to compensate the humble graduate stipend; my real interest lies in personal documentary photography.
This blog helps me remember 2AM ideas, problems and their solutions, and the little realisations about the world. The reason to make this blog public is so that other people who seek the same knowledge can find the posts helpful.
Who doesn’t like appreciation! I’d really appreciate if you drop a line if you’ve found it useful.
